Assembling the Chili

Start by browning the turkey in a skillet. While the turkey is browning, add the veggies and beans to the slow cooker.

Next, add the crushed tomatoes. When the meat is done, drain and add it to the slow cooker. Then, add all of the seasonings. Give it a good stir to incorporate everything.

Cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.

You can enjoy a bowl on its own or over white or brown rice for a more filling meal.

Storage Instructions

Refrigerator: Keep any leftover chili in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. The flavors deepen over time, making it even more delicious the next day!

Freezer: Allow the chili to cool completely, then divide it into freezer-safe containers or resealable bags. Freeze for up to 3 months, and when ready to enjoy, thaw overnight in the refrigerator.

Reheating: Warm the chili in a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fully heated. For a quicker option, microwave individual portions in a microwave-safe bowl in 1-2 minute intervals, stirring between each interval.
